We are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and incredibly fun environment where young people can come together to make new friends, enjoy exciting activities, and immerse themselves in the great outdoors. Nestled in the heart of breathtaking nature, our camp is surrounded by stunning scenery that offers endless opportunities for adventure and exploration.
At our camp, we strongly believe in cultivating a sense of community where every individual feels included, respected, and truly valued. Our highly trained and friendly staff members are committed to being supportive and encouraging, working tirelessly to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere for all of our campers. We pride ourselves on fostering friendships that last beyond the camp.

Our History
The Club offers children the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills.
Approximately 70 years ago, the late William Haines, a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Town, constructed the first hut on his Glencairn farm for use as a youth camp. Haines was a passionate physical culturist and a physical training teacher at the South African College School.
He envisioned training youth from diverse backgrounds in physical activities to enhance both their minds and bodies.
Upon his passing on 15 February 1942, William Haines stipulated in his will that his Glencairn property be entrusted to two organizations with which he had longstanding ties. The smaller section near Glencairn beach was bequeathed to the Gordons Missionary Society, while the larger portion was designated for the Rotary Club of Cape Town, with a directive to establish a committee to oversee the property’s management.
